Here's a polymer clay three-toed sloth I made with the guidance of Christi Friesen's excellent "Welcome to the Jungle" book. Her books are excellent and have the most brilliant step-by-step instructions that mean it's relatively easy to produce something that looks good.

Beadweave Necklace
This is a variation on a Mary Davis creation and I like it very much. I wanted it to have an antique feel and think I achieved that with the colours I choose.

Lampwork Bead Necklace
Here's a photo of a lampwork bead necklace I made. I wanted a way of wearing lots of my lampworks beads at once and something that was a bit versitile.
I wear this necklace very long or wrap it once to create two strands. Unfortunately it looks wierd as a bracelet because I think there are just a few too many beads for that.
I've used a bit of leather and just tied simple knots between groups of beads so the lampwork isn't too overwhelming.

Crochet Rope
This is a crochet rope I made a while ago. It's a simpler version of something that was in Bead and Button sometime ago. I liked how it went from light to dark and wanted to have a try myself. Picking the colours took ages.
It's just a long rope that I either tie once or lots of times weaving in the ends to give a big knot as is in the photograph.

Beadweave Bracelet
Here's a bracelet I finished recently and am very fond of.
I've had some commemorative coins for years and have been lucky enough to go to a few different countries. I had these coins and liked the look of them but didn't really know what to do with them. I decided to work on a way to wear them as a bracelet.
An old copy of Beadwork magazine had a pattern for circular peyote which I used and expanded to get to the right size for the coin then went to right angle weave for the sides.
I beaded around each coin individually then sewed them all together at the end and added a clap which I designed to fit in with the look of the bracelet. Unfortunately I made it slightly bigger than I would have liked but, luckily, not so big that I can't wear it. It was a tricky one to size correctly and I was so excited to finish it I probably didn't pay enought attention to making sure the size was spot on.
